Logical Fallacies -- Ethos, Pathos & Logos

Fallacies are something that is not the truth or that is fake. A fallacy could also be a made up story or a story that stretches the truth. Now, don't let this confuse you from a fairy tale, fairy tales are not necessarily fallacies. There are many different types of fallacies, but lets just focus on ethos, pathos and logos.

Ethos is considered a credible source, this is used for convincing people of things that you want them to believe. This is usually used in presentations, books or projects.

Pathos deals with emotions, to try and pull the heart strings of people. This is also a way that advertisers make you feel sorry for certain things. Such as the food commercials about the little children starving in third world countries.

Logos are way of persuasion, this is also called the arguments logical appeal. This is because, we use this during arguments or proposals of different sorts.
